Vintage Flower Girls Dresses for a Casual Wedding

Adorable Casual Flower Girl Dresses

This is the fourth in a series of posts on fabulous frugal casual weddings.   We hope you've had a chance to read all of the strategies on how incorporating vintage into your casual wedding can enhance your experience and that of your guests.  If you would like to take a look at all the posts, they are located in June and you can view them by clicking June in the lower right side of the blog directory.

Casual flower girl dress, is a continuation of the theme by showing off our wonderfully sweet vintage dresses which are perfect as a flower girl's dress for a casual and semi casual wedding.  New handmade and store bought flower girl dresses can cost in the area of $90.00 whereas a vintage equal will run in the area of $25.00 to $30.00.  Representing at least $50.00 of savings, after shipping, which can be applied to another area of your budget.

With vintage, you will find very special dresses which have been well cared for because "back in the day" party clothes were only worn on special occasions and many are handmade by the best seamstresses, Mom.  Many dresses will have only been worn once or twice and if they aren't handmade you'll find most are made in America with quality fabrics and craftsmanship not found in today's off the rack garments.

Below is a selection of vintage dresses all of which would be adorable for any little girl's first walk down the aisle.  Not as a bride, but as your special flower girl.  She will be captivated by the magical memories to dream upon until it is her special day.  It isn't just a dress, it's a dream!

These dresses are so beautifully charming.
Memorable not only to the parents or bride and groom, but to the little girls that get to wear them.

Personally I prefer dresses (like the above) that are so simple and charming! Now only if I knew someone getting married :) Beautiful dresses!! The simpler the better.
